Teen murder suspect in Butler County court
MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) - A 16-year-old accused of killing a man during a drug deal will remain in juvenile detention. Paul Craft faces aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and tampering with evidence charges for the Dec. 8 homicide.
Middletown Police say Stephan Cotter, 23, met up with 16-year-old Paul Craft to sell him marijuana and Xanax on Friday, Dec. 8. When Craft got into the car on Pearl Street, investigators say he pulled a gun and tried to rob Cotter. Cotter put up a fight and police say Craft shot him and ran. Cotter died at Miami Valley Hospital.
Craft did not enter a plea during his juvenile court hearing. He'll return to court on Dec. 21.
