Prosecutor: Winton Hills murder suspect has threatened witnesses
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - A man wanted for a Winton Hills murder has turned himself in. The attorney for Anthony Latimer says he denies the allegations.
Police say Latimer shot Duran Vaughn, 30, on Kings Run Court on June 10. Vaughn was taken to UC Medical Center with gunshot wounds to his stomach and arm but he died.
Police have not said what led them to Latimer, who goes by the nickname "Boney Toney".
Assistant prosecutor David Wood requested a high bond. He said Latimer shot Vaughn in daylight, in front of a crowd. He said witnesses are scared of Latimer and that some of them say they've already been threatened.
A judge ordered Latimer held on one million dollars bond.
