Boy found shot to death with other victims in Southern Ohio
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - Three people were found murdered and an 8-year-old boy was reported missing in Lawrence County, Ohio. A fourth person at a second location was found stabbed. The sheriff's office has identified a person of interest.
Deputies were called to a mobile home in the Pedro area at about 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. That's where they found three adults shot to death. The other victim was found stabbed in the head and neck at a relative's home about a quarter of a mile away. That victim was flown by medical helicopter to a hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.
When deputies returned to the first mobile home, they found Devin Holston shot to death. His body was apparently hidden. Sheriff Jake Lawless said every room was a crime scene. Holston was found during a slow, methodical search of the home hours after the other bodies were found.
Sheriff Jake Lawless said deputies have named Aaron Lawson, 23, as a person of interest. He and the victims all lived on SR 93. They did not say if Lawson is related to any of the victims or to Devin.
Deputies spotted Lawson driving east of Ironton, Ohio. They chased him until Lawson crashed the pickup truck he was driving. He ran off and officers lost him in the woods. Law enforcement officers from all over the area searched for him but didn't find him.
Deputies are not releasing the names of the victims until their families are notified.
