Father investigating suspicious noises outside home shot, killed
UPDATE at 9:15 a.m.: Police have identified the victim as 26-year-old Joseph Rodriguez.
Additionally, investigators said they found the front door of the home was forced open. In a preliminary police report, investigators said a woman in the home, believed to be his wife, changed details of the incident several times when speaking to officers.

SAN ANTONIO - A man was shot and killed inside a home on the city's East Side early Friday morning.
According to witnesses, a 7-yer-old child inside the home heard noises outside the house on Marmok Avenue and alerted his father at about 4 a.m.
When the father went to investigate the noises, he was shot by a masked gunman who had forced his way inside.
The victim then collapsed and died in a hallway. Officers said the man's wife and four children, all under the age of 10, were unhurt.
The victim's identity was not released. No arrests have been made.
