IRS: Americans slow to file tax returns
WASHINGTON (WKRC) - If you've been procrastinating and still haven't filed your taxes this year, you're not alone.
It seems that many people are waiting to file.
Officials with the Internal Revenue Service say they've received 5.7 million fewer individual returns than they had at this point in 2016. That's an 8.5 percent drop.
The official filing deadline to submit your 2016 tax returns is Tuesday, April 18.
