Police: Disgruntled Ohio postal worker shoots, kills supervisor, postmaster
DUBLIN, Ohio (WKRC) - A disgruntled postal worker in the Columbus area has been accused of killing his supervisor and the postmaster.
According to Columbus police, 24-year-old Deshaune Stewart drove to the post office in suburban Dublin Saturday morning. That's where he reportedly shot and killed 52-year-old Lance Dempsey.
He then reportedly drove to an apartment complex and, while naked, he chased after postmaster Ginger Ballard with a semi-automatic handgun and killed her.
Investigators say Stewart was under investigation for misconduct.
Federal authorities are taking over the investigation because everyone involved is a post office employee.
