HIGHAM, Mass. (WKRC) - 3-year-old Lillian Isreal is an outgoing girl and she is especially fond of police!

That's why she approached an officer at her local Panera Bread when she saw him and gave him a high-five.

But her encounter with Hingham Police Seargent Steven Dearth didn't end there! Lillian noticed that the officer had an empty seat next to him and asked to sit. He said sure!

Seargent Dearth, a father of two girls himself, said he was delighted to have such a talkative dinner partner.

Surveillance cameras caught the cute interaction on video.

They talked about many things, including Lillian's favorite movie "The Little Mermaid."

Seargent Dearth said that he would like to see more children be as outgoing as Lillian and say hello to police officer when they see them around.

Seargent Dearth even gave Lillian a junior officer badge with the hopes that she will share her experience with others.
