Bengals Mock Draft 2017 15.0: Taking a sampling of 20 national Mocks

NOTE: Since the 2016 Bengals regular season ended has taken a look at different mock draft and draft scenarios for the team each week, including a second full seven-round mock draft (with projected compensatory picks and highlights of each player) on March 15, and this is the latest in the series:

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The NFL Draft is now just two weeks away and it's still totally unclear what direction the Bengals will go with the ninth pick in the first round, which is why there is such a wide array of names associated with the team and that pick among numerous national Mock Drafts.

The Bengals could go linebacker, defensive end, wide receiver or even running back depending on what's available with that pick.

I have advocated in both of my full seven-round Mock Drafts that the team select Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster if he is available and some national Mock Drafts have the team doing exactly that.

The following is a sampling of 20 national Mock Drafts, nine of which have the Bengals taking Foster, three taking Tennessee defensive end Derek Barnett and a total of eight different players being selected with that ninth pick:
