Kumerow clears waivers, reverts to Bengals reserve/injured list

Bengals wide receiver Jake Kumerow suffered a foot/ankle injury on the first day of training camp and was released on Wednesday, but cleared waivers on Thursday and reverted to the team's reserve/injured list. (WKRC/Richard Skinner).

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Wide receiver Jake Kumerow cleared waivers on Thursday and has been placed on the Bengals’ Reserve/Injured list with an ankle injury.

Kumerow had been waived/injured on Wednesday when the Bengals signed free agent punter Will Monday.

Kumerow injured his foot/ankle early during the first practice of training camp while blocking downfield on a runningplay.

He signed with the Bengals as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2015 and was on the practice squad each of the last two seasons.
