CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Luis Gonzalez is most known in baseball circles as playing World Series hero in 2001 with his RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning of game seven of the 2001 World Series, but he played real life hero on Friday in a Phoenix suburb.

Gonzalez witnessed a fiery head-on car accident and was able to pull a woman from harm's way.

"I just reacted. I didn't think about it, to be honest with you," Gonzalez said Saturday morning, according to the Arizona Republic.
