CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Down syndrome didn't prevent 12-year-old Brayden Gero from participating on his Boston area Little League team this season, but he had just one wish, and that was to record the team's final out of the season on the mound.

His wish came true recently when he struck out the final batter of the game.

Gero had played some games in the outfield during the season, and actually drew a few walks and even had a hit last week. He also scored his first run in the same game he recorded his save.

Gero got to ride with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the Patriots victory parade following their win in the Super Bowl over the Seattle Seahawks.
