Wiedeman earns spot on USL Team of the Week

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Andrew Wiedeman was recognized on the USL Team of the Week for the first time in 2017 after scoring the tying goal against Pittsburgh Riverhounds last week.

Wiedeman was the recipient of a deflected pass by Danni König and the forward beat defender Ritchie Duffie to the ball to bury a strike from just inside the box for his second goal of the season.

Currently tied for second on the team with 24 matches played and three assists, Wiedeman has logged 25 shots, including 12 on goal.

FCC is idle this week from action and travels to Harrisburg City Islanders on (Sept. 12 for a 6:39 p.m. match.
