Annual Reds Caravan makes final stop at Florence Mall Sunday
FLORENCE, Ky. (WKRC) - As we wait to settle into our seats at Great American Ball Park, you can at least get your baseball fix at Florence Mall Sunday.
That's where the annual Reds Caravan is making its final stop after a four-day, multi-state tour, and fans were lining up early to get in.
Doors opened at 9 a.m., and the event starts at 11 a.m. From 11 a.m. to noon there will be a Q&A session in the Center Court. After that, from noon to 2 p.m., you can get get autographs from the major league players, including Cody Reed, Sal Romano, Phillip Ervin and Amir Garrett. You can also get manager Bryan Price's autograph.
Minor leaguers and Reds alumni and Hall of Famers will also be there, including Tom Browning, Jeff Brantley, Corky Miller and Dmitri Young.
The event ends at 2 p.m.
The Reds home opener is March 29 against the Washington Nationals, but the Opening Day Parade will be held April 2 when the Reds take on the Chicago Cubs.
