Reds win pair of Cactus League games

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (WKRC/AP) - The Reds split-squads won a pair of games in Arizona on Sunday.

Adam Duvall had two hits and scored a run for Cincinnati in a 4-2 victory over the Brewers. Duvall is coming off a breakout season in 2016, making the All-Star team for the first time.

Bronson Arroyo, in his second stint with the Reds, threw two scoreless innings.

Isan Diaz homered for Milwaukee, and Lewis Brinson added an RBI double.

The other part of the team went to Scottsdale to face the Rockies and won 9-8.

Rookie Davis, acquired in the trade that sent Aroldis Chapman to the Yankees, worked three innings for Cincinnati, allowing two earned runs and two hits. He also drove in a pair of runs with a single in his lone at-bat.

Trevor Story went 3 for 3 for Colorado, and Tyler Anderson yielded three unearned runs in 3 2/3 innings. Veteran reliever Jason Motte took the loss, and was charged with four runs and four hits in one inning.
