Xavier introduces Travis Steele as its next men's basketball coach
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Xavier officially introduced its new head men's basketball coach on Wednesday at Cintas Center.
The university promoted associated head coach Travis Steele to replace Chris Mack, who was hired to coach at the University of Louisville.
Steele was hired by former Musketeers head coach Sean Miller and served under Mack for nine seasons.
The 36-year-old will be one of the youngest coaches leading a major basketball program.
