House To Vote On Delta Queen Bill Today

Updated: Wednesday, September 25 2013, 09:57 AM EDT
The House of Representatives votes on a bill today that would let the Delta Queen explore the Ohio River once again. The steamboat used to carry passengers on overnight trips
until Congress refused to renew a fire safety exemption in 200, because
the riverboat is made of wood.
Since then, the historic boat has been
simply a floating hotel in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The bill in the House would
renew the exemption, and allow cruises to resume.House To Vote On Delta Queen Bill Today
