Larry Davis is a good example that it`s never too late to start something new. After spending 28 years in radio news, he launched a career in television. Larry came to WKRC-TV in 2001 as a writer. He was also on the assignment desk and field produced before becoming a reporter in the summer of 2003.
He spent a year in California writing news for an internet web site. Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a news anchor and report at 700 WLW radio.
He has been fortunate to spend the majority of his career in Cincinnati. He was also an anchor/reporter and assistant News Director at WKRC-AM radio, 96 Rock, and WSAI-AM.
Larry attended Ohio University in Athens, OH, where he was a member of both the news and sports departments.
He has two children; Son, Matt and wife, Melinda, live in Cincinnati with sons Leo and Henry; and a daughter, Lauren, lives in Columbus with her husband, Ben, and daughter, Ella. Larry`s free time is usually spent reading, traveling, and enjoying all sports.
