Meghan Mongillo joined Local 12 in March 2016 as an anchor and reporter. She's says Cincinnati feels like her home. She moved to the city and worked at another news station as a morning reporter/anchor. Then she got a job up the road in Dayton. Meghan spent 5 years as the morning anchor for ABC22/FOX45. During that time, she made the daily commute on I-75 from the Queen City.
Meghan's personal life is making her a lifelong Cincinnatian. Her soon-to-be husband grew up on the west side and went to St. Xavier High School. Meghan said, "He told me on our 1st date that he's never moving from Cincinnati. I couldn't be happier to spend my life with him here."
Meghan's TV career also took her to WHIZ in Zanesville, Ohio and WANE-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is an Ohio native who grew up in the small town of Columbiana, Ohio, just south of Youngstown. Meghan said, "My sister Emily has also made Cincinnati her home. She's an elementary school teacher in Warren County."
When she's not working, Meghan can be found playing volleyball, running and enjoying the outdoors. She also loves country music, cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends.
