Meghan Mongillo joined Local 12 in March 2016 as an anchor and reporter. She says Cincinnati is home now. She moved to the city and worked at another news station as a morning reporter/anchor and never left. Her husband grew up on the West side and that’s where the family now resides. Meghan said, "He told me on our 1st date that he’s never moving from Cincinnati. I couldn't be happier to spend my life with him here." Meghan and Adam welcomed their son, Rocco, in November of 2016.
Prior to Local 12, Meghan spent 5 years as the morning anchor for ABC22/FOX45 in Dayton, Ohio. Meghan’s TV career also took her to Zanesville, Ohio, Montgomery, Alabama and Fort Wayne, Indiana. She’s an Ohio native who grew up in the small town of Columbiana, Ohio, just south of Youngstown. Meghan has three sisters and one of them lives here too. "My sister Emily has also made Cincinnati her home. She’s an elementary school teacher in Warren County."
When she’s not working, Meghan can be found playing volleyball, running and enjoying the outdoors. She also loves country music, cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends.
