Judge Refuses To Dismiss Case Against Michael Moore
A judge today denied a motion to dismiss the case against a former deputy charged with killing his parents four years ago.
Attorney's for Michael Moore wanted the case dismissed because of new d-n-a evidence.
Moore is charged with gunning down his parents, Madge and Warren Moore, in Union in June 2009. Moore claims a stranger shot his parents. His defense team says they've had an independent lab team look at the murder weapon and they found a second person's d-n-a.
After about an hour of arguments in court by both sides today, the judge denied the motion to dismiss.
Moore could face a death sentence if convicted.
