2014 Cincinnati International Wine Festival Honorary Chair, Leonardo LoCascio

Named one of the most influential wine personalities of the last 20 years, Leonardo LoCascio is Americas foremost authority on Italian wines.  As Founder and Chairman of Winebow, Inc., his masterful knowledge and passion of wines has escalated Winebow to become Americas major importer and distributor of wines and spirits from around the world.

He is especially proud of having introduced many Americans to the great wines of Italys southern regions. After discovering hidden gems and small to mid-sized wineries, often independent and family-owned Leonardo has worked his way up to earning a reputation for uncovering the best wines of the world. Today, Winebows Leonardo LoCascio Selections is considered the most impressive Italian portfolio of any importer in the United States.
In 2009, Winebow was named Importer of the Year at Wine Enthusiast Magazines Annual Wine Star Awards. Leonardo LoCascio was born in Palermo, Sicily, later attended New York University and furthered his education by receiving a MBA from the University of Chicago.
