Kangaroo Kardio

 A team participating in a growing fitness trend in the Tri-State stopped by our studio here at Local 12.
   
Medical Reporter Liz Bonis has the latest on Kangaroo Kardio in today's Health Alert.

We did get some special guest here for kangaroo fitness.  Linda Mitchell recently won a fitness competition and says this is one of the workouts that really helped her get in shape. If you haven't had the results from your workout you were hoping for this summer, you might want to try Kangaroo Cardio.

You wear these special shoes and they allow you to run or walk without the pressure on your joints. You can burn about 25 percent more calories per hour than you would if you were running or walking. You can wear them in classes, or you can actually use them outdoors.

Linda suggests doing a class about 60 to 90 minutes a few days a week to get in shape. Anyone can really make these work. She has classes available in Liberty Township throughout the week and we have a link with more information at Local 12 dot com.
