F as in Fat

After three decades of increases, adult obesity rates remained level in every state except for one, Arkansas, in the past year, according to F as in Fat: How Obesity Threatens America's Future 2013, a report from the Trust for America's Health (TFAH) and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF).

Indiana came in at number 8 on the list of most obese states in the nation. Kentucky was 9th and Ohio 13th.

The report also says 41 out of the 50 states have at least a 25 percent obesity rate. And, at least 20 percent of people in every state are obese. In 1980, no state had more than a 15 percent obesity rate.
