Efforts in Kentucky to Reduce 2nd Hand Smoke Exposure

KENTUCKY (WKRC) -- The Kentucky Board of Health supports a workplace smoking ban in September of 2013.

The board voted unanimously to endorse the effort by the group, A Smoke-Free Kentucky, to pass a comprehensive statewide law that would do that.

It would include bars and restaurants.

Smoke Free Kentucky wants to pass the law to improve the public's health by reducing exposure to second hand smoke.  More than 4,400 organizations in Kentucky have signed similar resolutions.
