It is published in the Journal Hypertension. Researchers found that those who had peripheral arterial disease, or PAD,who ate 30 grams of flaxseed a day were able to drop blood pressure ten to 15 points. That can make a significant difference in heart disease risk.
Flaxseed is best when ground. You can get it at any health food area or store. You may want to just add a couple tablespoons a day to your diet.
