Carnivorous Cartographer Makes Meat Map

CINCINNATI (Bob Herzog) -- Friends, it's time to talk about meat. Have you ever sat back and thought to yourself, "you know self, I think I'll designate an individual meat for each state of our fine union.  And I'll do it abiding by the following rules. One" no meat can repeat. Two: no chicken, fish or turkey, mammals only. Three: no stew or sandwiches."
Never thought about doing that?  Well, that's ok because l.V. Anderson over at has done it for you. Noting that Americans eat more meat per capita than any other country except Luxembourg, l.V. set out to be a carnivorous cartographer.

As for Tri-State designations, pork tenderloin went to Indiana.  Not bad.  Kentucky got lamb fries. Do you guys know what "lamb fries" are?  I recommend a scene from the Chevy Chase film "Funny Farm" to break it down for you. As for Ohio, well we got Kielbasa. I.V. noted the Polish populations in Cleveland and Toledo.
