Students Must Be 18 Before Drop Out In KY
KENTUCKY (WKRC-TV)- Kentucky is taking action to lower the number of high school dropouts.
More than a hundred of the state's school districts now have policies preventing students under 18 from dropping out.
Since so many districts have signed on, a new state law will become standard by 2017.
Governor Steve Beshear says all districts should just do it now.
