Mayor's Grandson Accused In City Theft
RYLAND HEIGHTS (WKRC-TV)- The mayor of Ryland Heights is speaking out about what may have led to his grandson to forge his signature on city checks.
The checks totaled more than $10,000.
33- year old Benjamin Perry faces a charge of unlawful use of a computer for the crime.
Mayor Bob Miller says his grandson developed an addiction to heroin that changed him.
He hopes now his grandson will be able to overcome his dependence on the drug.
Perry will be sentenced next month.
