1940s Weekend at Union Terminal
It is a blast from the past. Union Terminal takes visitors back with the sights, sounds and tastes of the 1940s.
While to some these items might seem a bit old by todays standards but one thing to keep in mind is that they were all new when Union Terminal Opened up.
Thats right all the items and events depicted in the exhibits, running August 10th to 11th,were all new and considered cutting edge technology and entertainment when the Union Terminal opened its doors in 1941.
This event truly touches on all things 40s. From lessons on how to do your hair and makeup in true 40s fashion. To listening to the sounds of a big band while checking out vintage cars.
Doors open Saturday the 10th, from 10:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and again on Sunday the 11th, from 11:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. A list of events can be found below.
