Poker Tournament Coming to Cincinnati

Cincinnati will be the first city in Ohio to host the World Series of Poker Circuit Event.

The tournament will be held next month at the Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati. Casino officials plan to release more information about the event Tuesday at a one o'clock press conference.

The World Series of Poker is the largest, richest, and most prestigious gaming event in the world. Millions of dollars in prize money is given out each year.

In 2012, 74,766 competitors from 101 different countries participated in the series.

Cincinnati will be the third stop on the 22-city tour.

The 12-day event will be held from September 19-30.

Buy-ins for the series range from $365 to $1,675.

A stop is also planned for the Horseshoe Cleveland in March 2014.
