Player Returns to the Field After Amputation
A high school football player in Montana made his triumphant return to the field less than a year after a terrible injury during a game caused his leg to be amputated.
Koni Dole's leg snapped just below his knee during the regular season finale last season.
After several surgeries, his leg became infected and was amputated. But Friday night he was back on the field.
Dole played nearly every snap in the first half, on both offense and defense. He started at running back and ran for two touchdowns.
Dole and his team won the game, 45 to 0.
