Man on Trial for 4th Time in Nun's Murder
A man is on trial for the fourth time for murdering a Dayton, Ohio nun who was working as a missionary in the Brazilian rain forest.
Sister Dorothy Stang was shot multiple times in 2005. She fought against corrupt landowners who tried to steal land from local peasant farmers.
The man on trial has already been convicted in the nun's murder and has been sentenced to up to 30 years in prison. But his lawyers appealed and the Supreme Court annulled his latest conviction saying his defense wasn't given enough time to prepare.
Four others were also convicted in Sister Dorothy's death.
