New Life for a Vacant Firehouse
WALNUT HILLS, Ohio (WKRC) -- Walnut Hills oldest firehouse will soon play host to those looking for a night out.
Developers plan to turn the former firehouse near East Mcmillan Street and Gilbert Avenue into a restaurant.
The building has stood empty for about twenty years.
According to the Business Courier, there will also be apartments on the second floor.

Fire Company 16 was built 1870 and designed by famous architect Samuel Hannaford.
Monday City Council approved incentives for the projects including the sale of adjacent property that is owned by the city for just one dollar. The property taxes will also be reduced for up to eight years.
