UC Player Suspended From Team Activities After Arrest

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- The University of Cincinnati suspends a football player from all team activities after police say he threatened an officer.

Police were called to a home on Klotter in the Fairview area about 5:00 a.m. Sunday morning for a noise complaint.

Investigators say 22-year-old Braxton Lane pointed a laser pointer at an officer from a second story window.

Police say lane then threatened to shoot the officer causing him to call for backup.

Lane was then taken into custody on aggravated menacing and inducing panic charges. He has posted his $15,000 bond. He's scheduled for a hearing next month.
