Swimming in the River

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Nearly 100 people put on their trunks or swimsuits Sunday morning to participate in the annual Great Ohio River Swim.

The largest open water swim on the Ohio River kicked off at eight this morning at the serpentine wall, downtown.

The event raises money to offer more activities along local waterways and for sustainability efforts.

Over 500 people between the ages of 10 and 85-years-old have completed the swim over the past 5 years.
