Shots fired in Hamilton
HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC) -- Shortly after 1 a.m. Thursday, Hamilton Police Officers responded to the area of Chestnut Drive, Vidourek Drive, and Walnut Drive to investigate reports of shots being fired. On arrival officers found that two females (one aged 24, and the other 22) had received minor gunshot wounds as a result of the shooting. It is believed that neither person shot was the focus of the shooting.
Officers also took several reports property being damaged as a result of the gunshots. No other injuries or damage has been reported since the initial reports were taken.
Hamilton Detectives are asking for the assistance of anyone who may be a witness or has information regarding this incident. The cooperation of the public is a necessity for the prompt, successful prosecution of this and many criminal cases. By working together, we can all make our community safer.
