Consumer Advocates Sue Government

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKRC) -- The US Department of Transportation faces a lawsuit Wednesday for repeatedly delaying a rule that would require backup cameras in new cars sold in the US.

The rule was supposed to be implemented in 2011, but was pushed to 2015.

Consumer advocates sued, saying the cameras could have prevented hundreds of deaths and thousands of injuries.
