Hamilton Firefighters Battle Three Fires

HAMILTON, Ohio (WKRC Allison Pfeffer) -- Hamilton Firefighters were called to three different fires in eight hours Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. In all, a home, a garage and a park shelter burned.

Firefighters were first called to the large shelter house in Millikin Woods Park on Ross Avenue at 5:15 pm Tuesday evening. By the time they got there the shelter was a total loss.

Then at 8:45 pm, fire crews were called to a garage fire on High Street, next to the Wendy's. The flames had spread to nearby utility poles and wires. Downed electrical wires made fighting the fire dangerous, until electric crews arrived.

Fire crews were called to a fire at a house at 11th and Buckeye just before 2:00 am. Extra firefighters were called in to help put out the flames.

No one was hurt in any of the three fires. Investigators are trying to determine the cause in all three.
