Knox Defends Decision Not to Return to Italy
SEATTLE, Washington (WKRC) -- The Seattle woman defends her decision not to return to Italy to stand trial again for her roommate's death.
Amanda Knox was convicted of killing Meredith Kercher and spent four years in an Italian prison.
Her convection was overturned in 2011 and she was freed.
But earlier this year an Italian court overturned her acquittal and she faces trial again. Knox says she is innocent and living the ultimate nightmare.
Italy's supreme court ordered the retrial because of inconsistencies in the appeals court's decision.
