Jurors Hear Taped Michael Moore Interview

BURLINGTON, Ky (WKRC) Jurors in the trial of a man charged with killing his parents listen in court today to the sobs of Michael Moore.

Moore is on trial for the deaths of Warren and Madge Moore, found shot to death in their Union, Kentucky home back in 2009.
Today a Boone County Sheriff's Deputy was first to take the stand. Detective Matt Mullins testified about how he received a phone call alerting him to two dead people inside a house and a quote "shooter on the run."

Jurors also heard the taped interview with police they conducted with Michael Moore in his hospital room where he was being treated for a gunshot wound. On the tape, he could be heard sobbing after being told of his parents death.

Moore now claims he shot his father in self defense, after his father shot his mother. Moore faces the death penalty if he is convicted.
