Donation Saves Holiday Train Display
RISING SUN, Indiana (WKRC) -- The show will go on in Rising Sun.
In August, we told you how the annual holiday train display at the Ohio County Historical Museum was in jeopardy.
The people who owned the train display left the museum organization and took the trains with them, leaving the museum with lots of other cool stuff, but no trains.
The holiday train show is an annual Rising Sun tradition, much like the Duke Energy trains in Cincinnati.
As a result of our story, a train collection worth $20,000 has been donated to the museum and another train set is in the works as well.
We'll check back at the holidays and show you the new train collection and people enjoying them.
