Attorney General Files Suit Against Queen City Script Care
The Ohio Attorney General files suit against Queen City Script Care after several complaints from Cincinnati residents, most of whom are elderly or disabled.
Local 12 Troubleshooter first told you about the Blue Ash-based business, last February.
Queen City Script Care charged $30 to $40 dollars a month to help people get free or discounted prescriptions through pharmaceutical companies. However, anyone can sign-up for free or get help from several non-profits.
Some customers complained they never got their medications or a refund.
Others say the business took fees from their accounts multiple times a month.
Mike Dewine's office says it has 20 complaints against Queen City Script with losses of more than seven-thousand dollars.
The AG's office charged the business and its owners, Thomas and Theresa Fenske, with multiple violations of Ohio's Consumer Sales Practices Act.
