Oversized Load Makes Way To Ohio River

The oversize load that's winding slowly through Butler and Hamilton Counties got a late start this morning.
Drivers were supposed to head out at nine, but a couple hours later it was still in Fairfield.
The 270-thousand pound fiberglass tanker is ultimately headed for a barge docked near Southside Avenue in Cincinnati. It's 170 feet long, nearly 22 feet wide and nearly 19 feet high.

It's scheduled to now take three to four days to wind through several state routes and North Bend.  It will only go about five miles per hour through towns and villages.
