DQ Clerk Gives Blind Man $20 in Act of Kindness

HOPKINS, Minn. (WKRC) -- A random act of kindness goes viral and the praise is still coming in for one young man.

He's getting attention from the rich and famous.

Joey Prusak was working the counter at the Dairy Queen in Hopkins, Minnesota last week.

He saw a visually impaired customer drop a $20 bill.  A woman in line behind the man grabbed the bill and put it in her purse.  When the woman wouldn't give it back Joey asked her to leave, even after she began shouting and cursing at him.

Joey made it right by giving the man cash out of his own pocket.

That 20 dollars adds up to about two hours of pay for Joey, even with tips.

The story got out on social media from other customers in the store.  Since then Joey's gotten dozens of calls.  He even got a pesonal call from Warren Buffett who is a major shareholder in Dairy Queen.  Buffett praised him for doing the right thing.
