Judge Revokes Bond After Suicide Attempts

COVINGTON, Ky (WKRC) -- A judge revokes the bond for the former finance director accused of stealing 600-thousand dollars from the city.

Bob Due has tried to commit suicide twice, since he was charged last month. He stabbed himself in the stomach earlier this month at his Independence home. Last month, he started his car in the garage with him inside.

Due is charged with theft by unlawful taking, unlawful access to computer, official misconduct and criminal possession of a forged instrument. He faces 20 years in prison if he's convicted.

The judge determined Due is a danger to himself and should return to jail. He had been on house arrest.
