Secretary of State Testifies on Elections
CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Ohio's top elections official testifies before a federal panel today looking at best practices for Presidential elections.
Secretary of State Jon Husted says Ohio did not see some balloting problems that arose in other states in last year's general election.
Husted also used the appearance to push for federal funding for new voting machines.
The Republican Secretary of State has taken criticism that he backed election changes that suppress votes.
The last election included battles over early voting days and counting provisional ballots.
