Gunman Arrested at Flying Pig Admits Guilt

CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- A local man admits he took a gun to the Flying Pig Marathon three weeks after the Boston Marathon bombing.

49 year old David Moore of Colerain Township pleaded guilty today to menacing by stalking and failing to notify a police officer that he was carrying concealed weapon.

He did have a permit, but in Ohio you must tell officers when they stop you.

In exchange the prosecutor dropped two other charges.

Moore registered to run in the May 5 marathon.

He called days before to ask the race director about her relationship status.  When he arrived that morning, police and race officials were looking for him.

Investigators do not believe Moore, who's the commander of a VFW post in Colerain township, meant any harm.

Both sides agreed Moore must serve five years on probation and continue to get mental health counseling which was ordered by the court.
