Remembering a Snowy Halloween

CINCINNATI (Scott Dimmich) -- When it comes to Trick Or Treating the weather can be critical to a child's success.

Local 12 Meteorologist, Scott Dimmich takes us back to a frightful night twenty years ago.  This year the Weather Authority is preparing you for gusty winds, showers, and even thunderstorms on Halloween.  But the setup was much different 20 years ago.

On this date in 1993, road crews were out salting the roads in the Queen City.

So what were you doing 20 years ago today?

A Local 12 viewer said, "A lot of things happened in October 1993.  Our son was born and our 3 year old daughter got to experience her first big snow and she got to go trick or tricking for the first time she realized what was going on.  So she got to go trick or treating in the snow.  She was really excited about all of the snow.  And it was just a real exciting time for our family."

Another viewer said, "I remember building a snowman with my dad the day before when it was snowing.  It was a pretty big snowman.  The biggest one I remember ever building.  It was pretty weird that it snowed so early."

Now it's time for you to share your memories with Local 12!

Where were you 20 years ago when 6 inches of snow blasted the tri-state?
