Look Inside Tri-State's Newest Racino

LEBANON, Ohio (WKRC) -- We are getting our first look inside the Tri-State's newest gaming facility. Miami Valley Gaming on State Route 63 and I-75 is scheduled to open before the end of the year. Local 12's Jeff Hirsh has a first look inside.

The $175 million dollar Miami Valley Gaming project will have 1600 video slot machines, four restaurants and two bars.

Developers say it will be a shot in the arm economically for the area. One thousand construction workers have helped with the project. Another 500 people have been hired to work at the facility.

Once completed, there will be a five-eighths harness track. The stands will be able to slide back into the wall to create a multi-purpose area for other entertainment.

Miami Valley Gaming will open on 12-12 at 12 p.m. of this year. Horse racing will open in February of 2014.

Coming up at 6pm, Jeff Hirsh will look at the competition for gaming dollars. Is the market big enough to support the Horseshoe casino and two Tri-State racinos and three casinos in Indiana?
