Verizon Thieves May Be Behind Several Break-ins

MONROE, Ohio (WKRC) -- Police in several jurisdictions are investigating break-ins at Verizon stores, possibly by the same thieves.

Monroe police say the robbers got away with $4000 worth of merchandise at the store on Heritage Green Drive on Friday, October 18.

Delhi police report a similar break-in on October 15. The thieves smashed the glass in the door to get into the business. They got away with several smart phones.

The verizon store on Mason Montgomery Road in Mason was broken into on September 22 and October 3. The robbers threw a large rock through the front door. They took $30,000 worth of smart phones, most of them Samsung Galaxy phones.
