School Wants to Build Football Stadium

NEWTOWN, Ohio (WKRC) -- Administrators at a school in Newtown want to establish a home field advantage for its teams and to do that they propose making changes to a local park.

Miami Valley Christian Academy leaders want to make these improvements at the 16 acre short park, including building a football stadium.

They want to create football and baseball fields, basketball courts, and a track.  They're also considering a playground, skate park, and tennis courts which the public could use as well.

The schools proposal will be discussed Tuesday night when the Newtown Village council meets.
